Mazarin cake

Mazarin cake           

Oven temperature 175°



300 g butter

4 ½ dl sugar

3 eggs

1 ½ tbsp vanilla sugar/a few drops of vanilla essence

40 ground almonds

4 ½ dl wheat flour

1 ½ tsp baking powder

2 ¼ dl cold milk

1 tsp bitter almond oil




Beat fat and sugar fluffy. Add the eggs, one at the time, then the vanilla sugar and ground almonds. Mix the flour with baking powder and sift it into the mixture. Add milk. Bake in a greased and breaded 2 l. (c. 22 cm ø) cake tin in 45-60 min.
